Rules

General Rules

1. Throughout the game, you must comply with the valid laws of the Czech Republic.
2. Throughout the game, you must follow the rules of decent behavior. Swearing and insults are not tolerated. This applies both in-game and on Discord. SEVERE PENALTIES APPLY FOR PROFANITY.
3. Using Discord is recommended.
4. The GM (Game Master) is the highest authority in the game and may make decisions contrary to established rules and regulations. Their decision is final, binding, and indisputable. The term GM includes members of the operational team with roles such as chancellor, gamemaster, seer, or admin. If anyone contacts you (via Discord, Facebook, e-mail) claiming to be a GM team member, you can easily verify this—ask them to show you their GM character in-game, which no GM will refuse. The unique mark of team members is the GM robe (with a hood), which is not available to players.
5. The only allowed macro utilities are Razor and the newly added OrionUO.
6. AFK macros are not allowed. AFK (Away From Keyboard) means you are connected but not at your computer or not watching the game. Being AFK is also forbidden in RP jail.

Rules Regarding Game Accounts and Characters

1. Only one game account per IP address is allowed. One player = one game account. Exceptions may be granted only in justified cases where multiple users share one IP address. Exceptions are granted only by an administrator (see Discord contacts).
2. Any suspicious account manipulation is prohibited! Suspicious actions include lending, transferring, or sharing accounts with others or actions leading to one player having multiple accounts.
3. It is forbidden to transfer items between characters on the same account (equipment, money, or any other items)! It does not matter how the items are transferred. Items must only be exchanged between player characters through vendors in the marketplace. Other methods are considered bug abuse. It is also strictly forbidden to conduct trades for the purpose of transferring money (e.g., 1 feather for 10,000 gold).
4. Up to 5 characters per account are allowed. GMs do not handle character deletion requests; players can delete characters themselves, but only after 7 days from character creation.
5. Repeated rule violations may lead to the shard deleting your game account. In the case of serious offenses, your Discord access may be blocked, and other shards will be informed about your behavior.
6. If your account is blocked or deleted, creating another account is not allowed. Exceptions may be granted only by the main admin (see Discord contacts).
7. If multiple accounts are created from one IP address, players are obliged to report this to the member of the operational team responsible for registrations.
8. It is forbidden to sell runes, animals, or other goods under names that do not clearly indicate what the goods are. Misleading and false names will be punished more severely.

Rules Regarding the Game Itself

1. You must always play your character consistently, i.e., strictly follow RP behavior. The only exception is OOC allowed in party chat, which should also be used to explain things to absolute beginners.
2. GMs do not exist in roleplay; if you meet them in-game, they handle system issues. GMs do not communicate with players in RP to speed up communication.
3. Player killing (PK) is forbidden. Alternative PvP options include duels or factions. If your character becomes PK, the GM team reserves the right to delete that character.
4. Exploiting game bugs for personal gain is forbidden. This includes actions that violate the world's lore or common sense (e.g., picking a bank through a wall). Not reporting or abusing bugs is one of the most serious offenses.
5. It is forbidden to train or use skills in ways that conflict with the world settings, cause excessive server load, or prevent the server from responding properly. Training skills by intentionally failing (e.g., provoking monsters on ships) is also prohibited.
6. It is forbidden to disrupt GM-organized expeditions.
7. It is forbidden to share walkthroughs for any quests, including questions and answers from test NPCs, by any means.
8. It is forbidden to handle game-related matters that directly affect the game on the Gamepark client outside proper channels...

Rules Regarding Houses and Rental Apartments:

1. Only the rightful owner and co-owners listed on the rental plaque have the right to enter an apartment.
2. Anyone else wishing to enter must be invited in-game, for example by saying "Filipe come" (replace "Filipe" with the invited person’s name).
3. If someone unlawfully breaks into your apartment and steals something, decide whether to handle it RP or non-RP. If non-RP, report it using the command .nahlásit...
4. You can acquire apartments in four ways: from the owner, the manager, finding it in a treasure, or purchasing it.
5. A house with plans and contracts can be built by the manager in the city if it fits the appearance.
6. Apartments with overdue rent are evicted, and belongings can be recovered for 100,000 gold.
7. You can own only one rental apartment plus one auction certificate. Apartment dealers risk fines.

Rules for Creating Character Names:

1. You may use the same names if they originally belonged to you (name theft is punished).
2. Names must fit the game’s fantasy setting.
3. Names consist of:
   • First name and surname, or First name with "from Place" for humans,
   • "Name son/daughter of Name" for dwarves,
   • "Elven" name for elves
4. Elves may have up to four words in their names.
5. "From Place" must refer to a real location in Midkemia or the books by R. E. Feist.
6. Names follow Czech orthography (capitalize the first letter).
7. Names must be Czech or neutral, not like Killer Boy, Rulezz, etc.
8. Consider using general or descriptive adjectives in the name.
9. Names from book sources are forbidden, and names from other books/films are discouraged.
10. Titles such as sir, lord, de, von, etc., are prohibited in names.
11. GMs may modify names considering the player’s suggestion.

Dwarves: Vili son of Doran, Toignia daughter of Tomli, Visin son of Glanar, Bumli daughter of Roin

Elves: Sulindë Hedia Tuthiel Nalith, Pówyn Sadriendel Siriand, Tinilmalas Lómorfind, Milmaviel Elrudien
